Jazz the DreamDog

Far away on the Homeless Puppy Farm in Chantilly, Virginia, there was a very nice lady named Katie Barr. She took in stray animals and animals that people had to give up when they moved. Sometimes, she found animals; other times, people brought them to her. Jazz’s Mommy (a beautiful Golden Retriever) was one of the found doggies. She was badly hurt, so Katie, the nice lady who ran the Homeless Puppy Farm, bandaged her leg and put her in with the little doggies, thinking they would leave her alone.

Jazz’s Daddy (a feisty dachshund) did not leave the Golden Retriever alone. They had puppies together and Jazz was one of those puppies. Katie was worried about Jazz. She should have been the runt of the litter. In Katie’s opinion, she might even die. But, Katie didn’t know at the time that she was Jazz the DreamDog. She was just starting out.

Jazz, a once homeless golden retriever and dachshund mix, who always helps a difficult situation with a loving look, knowing nuzzle and welcoming wag.
